The August 2013 political prisoner birthdays poster from the Chapel Hill Prison Books Collective is out now. Please take a moment to send a birthday card to those prisoners with birthdays this month. It’s a great way to let them know that they aren’t forgotten.

This month folks should check out the prisoner hunger strike in California. As of today, more than 30,000 prisoners are on day 26 of an indefinite hunger strike.
